Brothers Scrap Recycling started in early 2026 in Melbourne’s south-east. Two brothers opened one yard with the simplest promise in the trade: an honest weigh, a fair price, and same-day cash. That is still the whole business.

Why Brothers exists

The brothers grew up around the trade. They watched too many people get a slow scale and a fast story instead of a fair number. So they built the opposite. The scale faces the customer. The rate is set daily and posted on the wall. The weight ticket goes home with you. Nothing about the weigh happens out of sight, because that is the part most yards keep hidden, and it is the part we make the whole point.

Who we work with

We buy from tradies clearing a site, builders closing a fit-out, commercial accounts on a bin schedule, households clearing a shed, and people selling a whole end-of-life car. No load is too small to put on the scale.

What we do differently

Calibrated scales, in full view, every load.

Daily commodity-linked pricing, posted on the yard wall.

Cash or instant bank transfer, once the weigh is done.

Every stream goes to a licensed downstream processor under EPA Victoria waste tracking.
